The night sways again, placing me to sleep

The night sways again, placing me to sleep

Kingdom comes, my soul to save

Kingdom comes, my soul to save

My soul, the night sways again.

Sleep comes placing me to save the kingdom.

As I rest my head on this cave, Death calls me queen, tonight

As I rest my head on this cave, Death calls me queen, tonight

He dances for me upon his feet

He dances for me upon his feet

This rest calls Death tonight; he dances upon me — for his feet.

As I head on… cave me, “My queen.”

With music of defeat and stars

With music of defeat and stars

Calling for me by my name, with accents unheard before

Calling for me by my name, with accents unheard before

My unheard name accents, and with stars of music.

Calling by, before me for defeat.

Kingdom sleep on,

for I head to save his cave-call dances.

Rest upon by calling before stars of name-unheard music.

As placing Death with defeat, my soul sways his feet.

He accents me this and night,

“The queen comes again, tonight.”
